* Clean up after yourself

* Wash dishes and yourself on dry land

Plan and prepare your hike carefully

* Prefer existing hiking trails, because hiking also puts a strain on the environment.

* Use means of transport that use as little fossil fuel as possible. For long hikes, prefer a train or bus. In the case of a car, try to use one car for several people.

* You can also rent or rent hiking equipment, you don’t necessarily have to buy everything.

Pack your food in reusable boxes and bags. This is how you reduce the waste generated on the trip.

Adhere to restrictions and principles of everyone’s rights

* Make yourself aware of the guidelines and restrictions for the area. Stick to them.

* Everyone’s rights mean the right to move freely in nature on the lands of all landowners in a way that does not cause problems or confusion.

* Remember that movement and other individual rights are restricted in nature reserves and hiking areas, outdoor areas, fields and plantations, as well as by the decision of the authorities in some in other areas.

* Elsewhere you can hike respecting everyone’s rights, as long as you don’t cause problems and confusion.

* Always use a leash when walking with a dog or another domestic animal on natural landscapes or hiking trails.

Move and set up camp without leaving a trace

* Use marked hiking and road trails to avoid wasting the landscape.

* Set up the camp in the designated place. If there is no such place nearby, choose a campsite that has already been used. Avoid lichen and other sensitive soils.

* Behave in such a way that you leave no trace of you at the campsite.

* Move tactfully in the terrain – don’t make too much noise or disturb the animals.

Make fire thoughtfully

* Find out if going to the forest is prohibited due to fire danger. You can get information from the rescue area hotline or RMK information point.

* If going to the forest is allowed, know that the higher the fire danger class, the higher the fire danger and the more careful you have to be when making a fire .

* Remember that you may make a fire and camp only in a place prepared and marked for this purpose.

* When making a fire, prefer a fire place with a cover and follow the instructions. In the case of the fifth or higher fire hazard class, rather avoid making a fire.

* The prepared fire places are shared, so get along with other users.

* When making a fire, use ready-made trees or fallen branches, you can also burn waste of natural origin in the fire.

* Keep the fire burning properly, but at the same time as small as possible.

* The supplied grill also only smoke on a prepared and marked fire place, pour the used grill coals onto the fire place.

* Do not smoke in the forest, but only at a prepared and marked fire place.

* Report a forest fire to the alarm center.

Anacreon quote

Nature gave horns to the bull, hooves to the horse, quick legs to the hare, swimming ability to the fish, flight ability to the bird and intelligence to the man. He had nothing to give her except beauty. You can’t fight beauty with a spear or a shield. A beautiful woman is stronger than fire and iron
