40,6cm, 8,8mm EASTON® Carbon 6.3 tent-pole segment, with insert

Ultralight EASTON® tent pole segment made from multi-layer carbon with 8.8mm diameter and 40.6cm length. With a pressed-in aluminium connecting pin/insert. Another segment can be connected at either end. Perfect for self-sewn tents or as a replacement for damaged poles as well as for repair.

For finishing the 8.8mm carbon poles you can use the same tips as for the 8.6mm aluminium poles.

Carbon tent poles are more susceptible to damage such as crushing, prolonged abrasion, incompletely inserted connecting pins, excessive bending etc. and should therefore be handled with more care than aluminium poles. When handled correctly, carbon tent poles are in no way inferior to aluminium.
