An exceptionally strong and stable four-season dome tent optimized for extreme weather conditions and rugged terrain. A great choice for winter hikes and use at higher altitudes, yet still light enough to pack in a trekking backpack. Excellent ventilation and mesh entrances make it a perfect alternative for tropical adventures as well. The outer tent and inner tent are connected for easy setup. The dome structure allows the tent to stand without ground pegs, making it easier to relocate. The pole sleeves are large enough to accommodate double poles (optional), allowing the tent to withstand higher winds and more snow on the roof. The extra-large ground loops and anchor points allow the tent to be secured in snow with skis or poles. All loops and cords are designed to be easy to handle, even with thick winter gloves. The guy lines are woven with reflective threads, and additional reflectors on the ventilation openings and doors make the tent visible during the darker months of the year. The tent stakes are especially long and wide to ensure a firm grip on difficult terrain. The tent experience is made more comfortable with two spacious vestibules and a high ceiling. Dual-side entrances allow you to use the leeward side in stormy weather. The inner tent features a removable mesh shelf and several mesh pockets for gear storage. Ventilation openings at various heights can be closed for optimal airflow. In warm conditions, the door can be left half-open for additional air circulation without letting rain enter the inner tent. All openings are covered with dense mesh to keep even the smallest, barely visible insects away. The outer tent is made of Fjällräven’s durable TripleRip nylon. Its innovative design combines two fabric weights optimized for strength—40 denier in the upper part and 70 denier reinforcements in the lower part, where ground friction is the highest. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Keb Dome 2 is made entirely without PVC plastics and toxic chemicals.
