Optimized for challenging weather and terrain, the Keb Endurance 3 is an excellent choice for winter expeditions and use above the treeline. Despite its rugged construction, it remains light enough to carry in a trekking backpack.
All materials and components are meticulously chosen for extreme conditions. Large zippers are easy to handle with winter gloves, reflective threads in the guy lines enhance visibility, and oversized ground loops and attachment points allow anchoring with skis or poles in snow. Extra-long, wide tent stakes ensure firm grip on rough terrain. Reflectors on ventilation openings and doors make the tent visible during dark seasons.
The outer tent and inner tent are connected to keep the inner tent dry during setup. Pole sleeves are generously sized for double poles (available as an accessory), enabling the tent to withstand stronger winds and heavier snow loads. The spacious vestibule offers ample room for gear storage, cooking, and other activities. Two entrances mean you can always use the lee-side door in stormy weather.
The inner tent includes a removable gear shelf and multiple mesh pockets for storage. Large ventilation openings minimize condensation and are covered with fine mosquito netting, which can also be closed externally when camping in snow or sand. In warm conditions, the door can be partially opened for better airflow while keeping the interior dry.
The innovative outer fabric is made of Fjällräven’s durable TripleRip nylon, combining 40 denier fabric in the upper section with extra-strong 70 denier fabric at the bottom. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Keb Endurance 3 is completely free of PVC plastics and harmful chemicals.
