The Fjällräven Keb Endurance 4 is an exceptionally strong and stable four-season tunnel tent, optimized for extreme weather conditions and challenging terrain. It is an excellent choice for winter treks and use at higher altitudes, yet light enough to pack in a hiking backpack. Every material and detail has been carefully chosen. For example, the zippers are large enough to handle easily even with winter gloves, the guy lines feature reflective threads, and extra-large ground loops and attachment points allow for anchoring the tent to the snow using skis or trekking poles. The tent pegs are especially long and wide to ensure great grip on rugged terrain. Reflective details on the ventilation openings and doors make the tent visible during the darker months of the year. The outer tent and inner tent are connected to prevent the inner tent from getting wet during setup. The sleeves for the poles are large enough to accommodate double poles (optional accessory), which allow the tent to withstand even stronger winds and more snow on the roof.
The large vestibule provides ample space for gear storage, cooking, and other activities. The two side entrances mean you can use the upwind entrance in stormy weather. An additional entrance at the other end offers extra storage space for gear. The tent also features a clothesline and several mesh pockets for gear storage. Large ventilation openings ensure excellent airflow and minimize condensation. All openings are covered with a fine mosquito net and can be closed from the outside with the outer tent if used in snow or sand. In warm conditions, the door can be left partially open for extra ventilation, without rain entering the inner tent.
The innovative construction of the outer tent is made from Fjällräven’s durable TripleRip nylon, combining two different fabric weights – 40 denier in the upper part and a particularly durable 70 denier in the lower part. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Keb Endurance 4 is completely free of PVC plastics and toxic chemicals.
