New Year’s snowshoe and ski trip with catering, Koitjärve bog

We invite you to end the year with us in nature!
Let’s adventure together in the Koitjärve bog and enjoy the pristine nature there. We hike across open marshy fields to Kivijärvi, there we sit down and take a nice hiking break and treat our body to Mek’s camping food. On the way back and forth, there are many meadows, bogs and beautiful natural views of the bog itself. We can also find activity traces of various birds and animals. You will hear interesting stories about bogs, the importance of bogs in people’s lives, and fascinating knowledge, but to consume different bog plants for your own benefit. On this trip, in addition to snowshoes, we can offer hunter’s skis. However, there are 16 skis and there are only enough for the fastest. At the end of the bog hike, we clink glasses with hot glögg and wish each other good wishes for the coming year! The hike has provided the body with exhilaration and enlivened the senses with positive emotion.

Now it’s time to head home, heat up the curling irons and straighten the tie to get to the more festive table with friends and dance forward to 2023!
