The EXPED MegaMat Auto is the ultimate self-inflating sleeping mat designed specifically for vehicle-based camping. With its special cut-out shape, it fits perfectly into car interiors, transforming your vehicle into a warm, spacious, and extremely comfortable sleeping area.

Built with 10 cm of open-cell foam, the mat offers unmatched comfort and insulation down to -40 °C. The 3D vertical sidewall construction maximizes the usable sleeping surface, while horizontal air channels inside the foam reduce both weight and pack size—without compromising softness or support.

The recycled tricot polyester surface is soft to the touch, offering a pleasant sleeping experience night after night. With two flat valves (one on each side), the mat inflates and deflates quickly. Use the included Mini Pump to fine-tune firmness during the night using the valve pin. The mat is self-inflating by default, with manual adjustment optional.

Packing is fast and simple thanks to the Sidewinder Bag. A repair kit is included for added peace of mind.
