Big Agnes Battle Mountain 3 mountaineering tent

Big Agnes Battle Mountain is a roomy and lightweight 4-season freestanding mountaineering tent that gives maximum protection in the harshest high-mountain and expedition conditions. It is built to withstand strong wind, cold and extreme weather while staying light enough for serious mountaineers and high-altitude expeditions.

The golden yellow colour of the Battle Mountain was created together with the legendary Sherpa Chhiring Dorje Sherpa, who has summited Mount Everest 17 times. The colour pays tribute to Miyo Losangma, the Tibetan Buddhist goddess of prosperity and good fortune, whose skin is said to be golden and who lives on Mount Everest.

The tent fly is made of Dominico undyed polyester ripstop with high-tenacity yarn. It gives excellent tear resistance, UV resistance and stability through changes in temperature and moisture, which is critical in high mountains.

Chhiring Dorje Sherpa's years of experience on peaks above 8000 metres and his contribution to developing and testing the tent have helped make the Battle Mountain one of the best mountaineering tents on the market.
