Rental conditions

  • By renting property that belongs to Pilved OÜ, the renter agrees to the rental terms, and any disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
  • Rental products are handed out on presentation of an identity document.
  • A rental agreement is concluded between the renter and the lessor, that is, Pilved OÜ.
  • The rental fee is paid immediately once the client has booked the equipment, and the rental is based on the invoice issued by Pilved OÜ.
  • When renting equipment from Pilved OÜ, you are obliged to return all the equipment at the end of the hike undamaged, complete and cleaned, in the condition in which it was received at the time of rental.
  • Throughout the hike the client is obliged to use the hiking equipment with due care and for its intended purpose, and to inform the hike leader immediately if equipment breaks or is lost.
  • The renter is responsible for equipment that breaks or is lost, and Pilved OÜ has the right to claim from the client all damage incurred (up to a maximum of the value of the equipment).
  • The renter has no right to hand Pilved OÜ property over to third parties.
  • The renter has no right to carry out or order repairs of Pilved OÜ property from third parties on their own, unless this has been agreed in advance with the lessor.
  • The client is obliged to use the help of the hike leader if the client does not have the skills needed to use the equipment.
  • Pilved OÜ is obliged to notify the renter within 2 days at the latest if, on return of the property, damage to the hiking equipment is found or the equipment is unusable.
  • The renter may reduce the rental fee or withdraw from it if the hiking equipment was partly or completely unusable at the time it was rented out.
  • The equipment must be returned in the same state of cleanliness as it was handed over. If equipment is returned dirty and needs more thorough cleaning than usual, the lessor has the right to charge a cleaning fee according to the price list: 15-50 € per item, or the amount of the actual cleaning costs.
  • We only send rental equipment within Estonia (to a parcel locker or by courier in Estonia); we do not post or courier rental items abroad. You can pick the equipment up in Võru yourself and also travel with it. When returning by post, the equipment is sent from Estonia.
