The Hultafors Carpenter's Axe STALBERG 0,8 has a straight handle and a long, narrow and straight edge that give the precision a skilled craftsman demands. The finger notch in the axe head allows a grip where the hand is placed almost straight above the center of the cutting edge, for increased precision.

The axe is hand forged from Swedish quality steel in the forge at Hults Bruk. The forging tradition goes back to 1697, and the steel head is struck 40-60 times to increase density and durability. The axe is named after Ernst Stalberg, one of the most experienced blacksmiths at Hults Bruk in the first half of the 20th century.

Thanks to the quality and craftsmanship of this axe, there is a full lifetime warranty on the axe head.
