Kungsleden: Kvikkjokk to Adolfström, hiking and mountain map

Calazo has created five highly detailed hiking maps at a scale of 1:50 000 covering the entire legendary Kungsleden trail from Abisko in the north to Hemavan in the south. This map covers the area between Kvikkjokk and Adolfström, continuing where the Ammarnäs and Hemavan map ends.

The map belongs to Calazo's new generation of mountain maps. The base data comes from airborne laser scanning (LiDAR), which allows landforms to be shown with great accuracy.

Updated contour lines with a 10-metre interval give a clear picture of the relief. Water bodies, steep slopes, hiking trails, bogs, buildings, rocky areas and difficult vegetation are also shown more accurately.

Tyvek®, a durable map for all weather

Calazo maps are printed on Tyvek®, a waterproof and exceptionally tear-resistant synthetic fibre material. As a result:

• the map does not fear water or moisture
• it does not tear at the folds
• the colours do not wear off with use
• it suits longer hikes and demanding weather conditions
