NORTENT Gamme 8 is a roomy and strong tent that works as a real "home" for 8 persons. With two entrances, the tent offers comfortable space for 6 persons with gear when the inner tent is used.

The Gamme 8 is built for the harshest conditions: it is spacious, yet mobile and relatively light for its class. The design uses 5 poles that cross at seven points, creating an exceptionally strong, freestanding tent. It copes well with strong wind and heavy snow loads.

The tent was inspired by the ancient Norwegian dwelling form, the Gamme, which the Sami people still use today. This traditional solution provided safe shelter even in the harshest conditions.

Like all our tents, the Gamme 8 has storm flaps all around that can be covered with snow, sand or rocks to increase stability. The tent stays very well in place in wind even without guylines, but up to 10 guylines can be used when needed. In addition, 4 extra attachment points are provided for use in especially difficult conditions.

It is a truly versatile 4-season tent that offers protection and comfort in both summer and winter and suits hiking adventures and expeditions.

Although the tent holds up to 8 people, the Gamme 8 can be pitched quickly and easily even alone, even in poor weather.

If you choose the inner tent as an accessory (sold separately), it can be attached to the tent in advance and transported together with it as one set. This makes pitching faster and simplifies packing.
