A footprint, or ground sheet, is available as an optional accessory for NORTENT Ly tents. Using a footprint helps extend the life of the tent floor and protects it from wear, sharp objects and possible damage. A footprint is not essential for using the tent, however.

The sturdy 70D floor of the inner tent is already waterproof and puncture-resistant, so the tent can be used successfully without an extra ground sheet.

A footprint is useful if you want to:

  • protect the tent floor from mud and dirt
  • give the floor additional protection against wear and damage
  • cover the vestibule floor as well
  • reduce condensation of ground moisture on the inner surface of the flysheet

The NORTENT footprint covers the whole base of the tent, including the vestibules, and so offers the widest possible protection.
