Riisitunturi Korouoma 1:25 000 hiking map

Riisitunturi National Park is known for its snow-covered trees, peaks over 400 metres and cranberries growing by the bog. Hiking trails and the ski trail network reach as far as Posio.

An earthquake shattered the majestic Korouoma canyon hundreds of millions of years ago. Ice walls tens of metres high attract ice climbers from all around. The Korojoki river winds through the canyon beside natural meadows, and a 20 km hiking trail leads to shelters and campfire sites.

The maps are compiled using laser scanning data, which makes the terrain data and contour lines more accurate than ever. The maps are printed on Tyvek material, which is waterproof and tear-resistant. A clever sheet layout fits all the area's main hiking routes on one map.
