Sareks nationalpark 1:50 000 hiking map

This new-generation mountain map offers significantly more detailed and accurate information than other maps of the same area. The terrain information is based on airborne laser scanning (LIDAR), which shows contour lines, water bodies and slopes much more clearly. Trails, depressions, buildings, rocky areas and difficult vegetation are also marked with greater accuracy.

One side of the map focuses on the Ruohtesvágge area, where Áhkká lies in the northern part of the valley and the highest peaks of Sarek are around Sarektjåhkkå. The other side covers the whole of Rapadalen as far as Aktse along the Kungsleden, and the Bårdde massif.

The map is printed on Tyvek® material, which is considered one of the best map materials. This synthetic fibre makes the map completely waterproof and very tear-resistant. A Tyvek® map does not tear at the folds and does not lose its colour even with long-term use.
